On 24" wheels, the Dahon Ciao P8 folding bike puts the rider slightly higher than the typical 20" Dahon bikes, and feels more like a cruiser bike. Since the folding geometry is the same, the package is still very easy to manage when it's completely folded down.
The hub dynamo in the front wheel powers the front and rear lights automatically when the bike is pedaled, so visibility is already accounted for. The rear wheel also has a maintenance-free Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub for easy hill-climbing.
