Dahon Curve D3 folding bike

The Dahon Curve D3 is a compact, sturdy folding bike, built for city commuting. With 16" wheels, it ensures a compact package with some added riding benefits: increased maneuverability and quicker acceleration.

The Curve D3 comes with Schwalbe Big Apple tires - wide balloon tires that absorb lots of shock and are lined with a tough Kevlar lining, making the bike virtually flat-proof. We made a point to aim for pot holes while riding the Curve D3 when we first got it in the shop, and we didn't feel a single one.

The Curve D3's simple 3-speed shifting is intuitive, covering a range that is more than sufficient for city riding. We took the Curve D3 up one of the steepest hills in New York City and the lowest gear was plenty. Bright red in color, the Curve D3 is definitely visible: to the surrounding traffic and to the throng of infatuated onlookers.
