The Dahon Mu P8 is all-in-all a versatile folding bike. It's light and compact enough to be used as an everyday commuter bike, fast enough for long weekend rides, and stylish enough to turn heads anywhere you go. With an adjustable handlebar stem, you can get a comfortable upright ride or opt for a more aggressive riding style. Its components are tough enough for NYC: it's sturdy in all regards. The Mu P8 is equipped with Schwalbe Marathon tires, which essentially means you're getting durable, flat-resistant tires that still allow for a good amount of speed.
And yes, the '8' in the name 'Mu P8' is a direct reference to its 8 speeds. 8 speeds is all you'll need for city or suburban riding, allowing for nice top speeds on flat ground and plenty of hill climbing ability.
