The eGo Cycle 2 weighs under a hundred pounds, but performs like much heavier and more expensive rides. The eGo is easy to get the hang of driving, and fast enough to get some thrills. The eGo is quite responsive and easy to maneuver through traffic. The controls are thoughtfully laid out and easy to reach. Ask any eGo owner, and they'll tell you - having an eGo is a good thing!
Speed
Twist the throttle grip and away you go. In the "GO FAST" mode, top speed is 20 mph, electronically limited. Zero to 20 mph in under 4 seconds. In the "GO FAR" mode, top speed is 15mph, and acceleration is smooth and simple.
Range
20-25 miles in the "GO FAR" mode and 15-20 miles in the "GO FAST" mode. Actual range will depend on the terrain and your size.
Regenerative Brakes
Relaxing the throttle automatically activates the regenerative braking feature. Recapture your momentum to charge the battery. Whenever you slow down the brake light is activated and Your eGO gets a boost.
Chassis
The eGO chassis is sculpture in motion. Precision cut aircraft-grade aluminum is precisely aligned and TIG welded into an incredibly strong yet arrestingly beautiful monocoque chassis with room inside to hold batteries, electronics, and drive components.
Paint
eGO cycles wear an extremely durable heat-activated powder coating on the fenders and rear triangle. It's weatherproof, fantastically fade-resistant, and hard as nails.
Wheels
eGO cycle wheels use lightweight alloy hubs and incredibly strong double-walled 48-spoke rims matched with durable long-wearing high pressure 20" X 1.95" street tires. More than strong enough to shoulder the load.
Saddle
One word: Comfort. For an extra-smooth ride, choose the suspension seat post that turns the seat post into a shock absorber.
Motor
The heart of the eGO is a tough D.C. motor designed and built in the U.S.A. Powerful enough to pull big people up big hills. It's equivalent to the pedal power of a grown man. Beefy enough to last.
Batteries
There are two 12 volt completely sealed deep-discharge lead-acid batteries specially designed for the rigorous demands of electric vehicles. Good for years of everyday use. They'll carry you up to 8000 miles before they'll need to be replaced.
Charger
Integrated on-board 3 stage smart-charger. Just plug your eGO in and the charger takes it from there. Four hours to 80% from complete discharge, 6-8 hours to full charge. No need to carry a charger with you or bring your batteries in the house.
Lights
Two efficient high-intensity halogen headlights and a startlingly bright LED tail light/brake light make sure you can see and be seen.
Dash
Keyed ignition makes sure you stay in control of your eGO. Digital instruments are easy to read. Performance mode selector lets you choose: "GO FAST" or "GO FAR."
Rear Rack
Standard equipment. It's great for bringing small cargo along. For more cargo space, choose the collapsible rear baskets or the lift-off front basket.
Warranty
