Giant Halfway folding bike - who needs the other half?
The Giant Halfway is an affordable and practical commuter bike that happens to fold. If you're not interested in all of the bells and whistles that come with a higher price tag and would prefer something simple and sturdy for your day to day commute, the Halfway is your folding bike. The Halfway comes with 7-speeds (more than sufficient for urban or suburban riding), a comfortable seat and handlebar grips, fenders, and a nifty rear rack.

With several members of the NYCeWheels staff having grown up in New York and thereby possessing an affinity for BMX bicycles (we were all raised with them here), we appreciate a durable bike. That said, we can happily report that the Halfway feels good to ride. Its sturdy cranks allow for various riding positions, so if you're the type that likes to stand for some increased assistance or visibility in traffic, you'll be glad to know that the Halfway ably permits this. This is a minor note, but it excited us here at the shop nonetheless. With 20 inch wheels, the Halfway also allows for quick acceleration and handling (both of which are a commuter's friend when traffic is present) without any sacrifice in speed.
The Halfway folds down quickly and includes an attached strap stowed below the rack to hold the bike in its folded position for times when you're on the go: whether you're carrying the folded Halfway on and off of the train, up some stairs, or onto your office's elevator. The Halfway also comes with a thin, nylon travel bag, protecting and concealing your bike when you're carrying it around while folded or storing it at your various destinations throughout the day.
