description
The Rayos electric bike, is the improved version of the ElecTrec & Lashout Electric bike. The feedback from 3 years of production runs has resulted in many improvements and upgrades. That said, if you were a fan of the ElecTrec & Lashout then the Rayos will leave you very pleased.

Rayos electric bike features:

  • Front and rear suspension (adjustable)
  • Removable battery pack
  • Inexpensive replacement batteries
This is a dual suspension (both front and rear), 8-speed bike that you can pedal like a bicycle (albeit heavier than a regular bike), power it like a motorcycle with a thumb press throttle, or pedal in conjunction with the throttle, making pedaling easier and extending your range. The 600 Watt motor will propel this electric bike up to 18 mph, and the larger 14 amp battery will last as far as 20 miles (on flat ground with some pedaling.)

The Rayos electric bike's battery can be charged on the bike but also pulls right out for those cases where charging isn't as simple because the bike can't be pulled next to a power source. This means you can leave the bike in the garage or locked up outside while you charge the battery in your home or office. Removing the battery also takes off some of the extra weight when you need to transport it, making it as portable as a non-powered bike.

The Rayos comes with a 4 hour portable quick charger. The center kickstand is a practical new feature, keeping the bike balanced and sturdy when not in use.

The new Rayos electric bike was designed with comfort in mind: we used a raised handlebar as well as the gel-padded seat. The seat post and handlebar stem is height adjustable to comfortably fit riders from about 5'0 to 6'2. With a new, stronger, better quality clutch, you shouldn't expect to have to do any maintenance on your motor. And, using lead acid batteries, replacing your batteries will be inexpensive
