1) The Crisp Smell of Autumn
It's time to bring out the holly and start throwing back egg nog - the holiday season is upon us! Before things get too crazy and Bert starts coming into work dressed as an Austrian Santa with Christmas lights wrapped around his Brompton, we should give thanks for a fantastic year in our store. Shoi and Mark also jumped on the folding bike train, riding a pink Brompton M3L and a raw lacquer Brompton S2L, respectively. Now that everyone in the store rides a Brompton, all of the bikes fit neatly inside the back closet. It also seems like the ongoing feud between Izzy and Mr. Baily has reached a stalemate - for now. They just growl at each other, so we can be thankful that there hasn't been any bloodshed lately. I'd also venture to say Bert is VERY thankful that the new website is finished. Now he can get back to his main passion - taking pictures of himself riding bikes in Lederhosen.
2) NYCeWheels Launches New Website!
That's right! On the cusp of the new decade, we're finally releasing our new image-driven website. There are drop-down menus, flash animation with pictures of our bikes and our customers, and a left-hand navigation that changes depending on where you click. Just looking at the left side of the screen tells you which bikes and scooters are in that section, so searching for something online has become a whole lot easier.
We're all perfectionists here. We lose sleep over things like loose spokes and uncomfortable seats. Since we've pored over this new website for so long, we'd hate for there to be any area that is unclear or difficult to understand. If you find yourself exploring the website and are confused about anything at all, email us with your problem, and we'll get it fixed up. We appreciate all of the feedback we receive.

Santa Claus is coming to town, and hopefully he's more like the Santa from the Rudolph cartoon and less like Dan Aykroyd from Trading Places. The times, they are a'changing, and it seems like eveyone is using blogs, Twitter, and Facebook to get their current events and news updates. Since our carrier pigeons take about two weeks to get the word out about our new bikes, we figured it was time to change our system. Now you can visit the NYCeWheels Blog for daily updates about our bikes, new technology, bike events, and happenings around New York City. Or, if you just don't have the attention span for more than 140 characters, you can read about NYCeWheels on Twitter.
