Soneil 12, 24, 36, and 48 volt Chargers

To determine which voltage battery charger you need you should remove one of the batteries in your bicycle or scooter and read the numbers on the side. Then follow the wires and determine how the batteries are connected. If the batteries are connected in series, as bellow, the voltage of the batteries add. In this case, two six volts, need a 12 volt system.

If the wires are connected in parrallel, as bellow, then the volage of the system is the voltage of one of the batteries.

Soneil chargers are high quality canadian made chargers specifically designed for charging sealed lead acid batteries. The Soneil chargers come standard with an XLR (3 prong) plug. (last picture on page)

If your broken charger has a different plug, you can cut off the plug on your old charger and connect the wires from your old plug, red to red and black to black, on the new soneil charger.

A third option is to purchase last item on the page and connect those wires directly to the red and black wires on your scooter or bike. With the new plug on your scooter or bike, you can use the soneil charger as it is without modification.
