This edition is made in small batches, which are released throughout the year. The bike is available in all steel with black extremities or as a superlight option with titanium fork and rear frame.

Brompton H6L Nickel Edition
The Brompton H6L Nickel Edition is a good-looking bike; I am pleased with it. Everything works as expected.
The only thing that I would change, is to add "Easy Wheels" to replace the little plastic rollers that come as stock. The rollers protect the rear assembly when the bike is folded, but they aren't very good for rolling the bike. The Easy Wheels kit is a Brompton add-on; it costs about $26.50.
NYCE Wheels shipped the bike promptly after my order. It arrived, about a week after order, ready to use -- completely assembled, and with tires properly inflated. The Brompton factory box had been packed within another, larger box, with padding. Everything was in good condition.
Also in the box, was a gadget to fasten a mobile telephone to the handlebars, along with a voucher for a smartphone app which displays guides for some European cities. I haven't tried it out; I value my time on my bike as time away from my phone.
Ordering the bike was straightforward, once I had figured out how to raise someone at NYCE Wheels on the telephone. (I wanted to be certain that the item would be in stock, since e-commerce websites do not reliably show current inventory.) Calling the toll-free number was a waste of time: the call was routed to an answering machine, which invites the caller to wait for an operator, or to leave a message. I gave up waiting after an hour, and left a message, which was never answered. I called the local New York phone number. It is listed on the website's contact page. It, too, routed the call to an answering machine, but shortly, someone at NYCE Wheels picked up the phone, and took my order.
