You'll be blown away by the smooth and comfortable ride quality of the Node D8. The 24 inch wheels are just big enough to smooth out the bumps while still being small enough for a compact fold. Plus it has a rack and fenders so you're all set no matter when or where you want to ride.
Tern Node D8 Features:
- 24 inch wheels for smooth riding
- Schwalbe Big Apple Tires
- Rack and Fenders
- Folds nearly as compactly as 20 inch wheel Terns
We've had amazing success with the 20 inch wheel version of this bike and we think that the Node D8 will stack up just as well. If you don't need the smallest fold to fit in a super tiny space, having those larger 24 inch wheels can be a real benefit. Not only will there be less vibration - the whole bike will handle more like a full size bicycle.
For a comfortable and quick folding bike, the Node D8 is the way to go. You'll get the feel of a full size bicycle in a small folding bike package!

Shopping with NYCEWheels
I love my Tern Node 8. I have been a cyclists most of my life. Now I have moved to a highrise retirement apartment in an urban setting. It's the perfect bike for me for storing and transporting.
NYCEWheels filled my order and shipped to me in an extreamly timely matter
It was also packed well and adjusted correctly. I couldn't ask for anthing more than that.
Fantastic bike for the price
Easy to fold/unfold, great stability, and overall very cool look - drives like silk - highly recommended for commuting and overall around town touring. Love that it has a good old kick stand to boot!
SO FAR SO GOOD
SO FAR SO GOOD
Excellent commuter bike
I love my new foldable commuter bike. The wheels are 24 in so it rides like a full size bike. Both folding and unfolding are very, very easy. 8 speeds are plenty for the hills where I live.
My only negative comments: The bungee cord on the back rack is useless. It is attached in such a way that it cannot be detached and repositioned so I'm still carrying a backpack when I ride. Also, the directions for assembly (basically just attaching the right pedal) implies that you need a cone wrench and that it is included. In fact, the pedal is attached with an allen wrench. The allen wrench was included.
TERN LINK AND TERN NODE
BOUGHT ONE OF EACH AND THE WIFE AND I ARE EXTREMELY SATISFIED USING THEM. IN FACT, SHE WILL NOT RIDE HER 26" MARIN BIKE ANYMORE. IT IS EASY TO HANDLE AND A VERY GOOD CLIMBING BIKE BECAUSE OF THE SMALLER WHEELS WHICH REQUIRE LESS TORQUE GOING UPHILL. ALSO IT IS SMALL ENOUGH TO MAKE IT A SAFER BIKE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS WHO DON'T BIKE VERY OFTEN LIKE MY WIFE. VERY WELL MADE AND EASY TO FOLD/UNFOLD. GREAT FOR TRAVEL.
i love this
ooo h my good this is what I just need no more sway $ 8 mounts I have money back lol
Fitness Guy: Amazing "Eye Catching" Bike that Performs extremely well! :-)
A little about me...I love fitness, stand about 5 ft 7in and weight 244 lbs. The bike folds and unfolds extremely fast and is accompanied by a pleasant riding experience. Definitely more than worth the price. I had the pleasure of working with Janee from Nyce Wheels. Janee clearly puts customer service first. I traveled from DC to allow for a hands on experience. Janee not only answered my gazillion questions, lol, she also test rode several bikes with me. The Tern Node D8 was Janee's original suggestion for me and "Wow" she hit it spot on. No more lugging around a huge lock for my bike. I now put the bike next to my desk and take it into stores lol. The upgraded pedals and hand grips were suggested and definitely are appreciated. Smooth ride and now, because the bike folds, I can get on the train at anytime throughout the day. Washington DC traffic is now in my rearview.
I'd recommend adding the Tern CarryOn Cover 2.0. The bag allows you to conceal the bike and carry it over the shoulder, in minutes.
Thanks NyceWheels and a special thank you to Janee! Above par customer service!

Extremely happy with my new bike!
Bike came as expected but
Bike came as expected but the Pedals were damaged and had to be replaced. Ironically I did not like them and would have replaced them anyway
